About the role

Combined Insurance, a Chubb Company, is seeking a Director, Marketing Operations & Infrastructure to join our fast-paced, high energy growing Marketing Department. This position reports to the AVP, Marketing Operations & Infrastructure with the Brand, Digital & Marketing Services team and is responsible for providing much needed data analytics to help drive actionable, reportable decisions for budgetary spend, print fulfillment forecasting and external marketing support for the entire marketing ecosystem. The ideal candidate will assist with the forecasting, planning and inventory management of all marketing collateral partnering with key external vendors such as our print/fulfillment house and our integrated marketing platform, Marketing-on-Demand. The Director will collaborate with Sales Leaders and key internal Business Partners to help create solutions that are aligned with product, brand, legal and regulatory guidelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Executive Marketing Support 

  • Acts as a trusted advisor to the Marketing leadership team, elevating insights and analysis on marketing operations, key management decisions, budget, and other areas.
  • Supports Marketing team in formulating strategic marketing plans aimed at building optimal operational performance, to include resource management, financial planning, and forecasting. 
  • Proactively resolves problems and deals with issues as soon as they arise.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including listening as well as explaining complex ideas and technologies; ability to influence functional groups to a shared vision; effectively convey information to all levels of the organization.
  • Release quarterly dashboards with analysis.
  • Ability to write and design strategic PowerPoint presentations. 
  • Strong aptitude for conceptualizing, communicating, and selling new concepts while also being able to take an analytic approach to problem solving and strategic development.

Budget Management

  • Partner with Operations Leadership to develop and manage the Marketing Operations budget
  • Monitor budget performance and identify trends and risks.
  • Work closely with Finance on monthly expenditures and with team on forecast)

Resource Planning

  • Recommending and tracking proper utilization of marketing resources
  • Managing reporting and analyses of ROI for all marketing project and account support, including cost-benefit analyses, and performance assessments 
  • Identifies issues in real-time and proposes solutions. 
  • Experience driving Marketing Operations and Infrastructure to ensure product collateral automation needs are brought in from the outset during product launch cycles. 

Inventory Management

  • Developing business and financial forecasts for the print strategy
  • Experience managing, planning, and forecasting print inventory spend including but not limited to working with key sales and business leaders to understand the strategic direction for all collateral to anticipate fluctuations in quantities and plan according.
  • Experience working with print vendors to assess, project and stock materials and determining which print product method is most appropriate.
  • Experience partnering with the business to measure and monitor usage of all assigned collateral, adoption and outline action plans where appropriate to change field behaviors monthly.

  • Strong analysis and communication skills (both written and verbal); an in-depth knowledge of effective program change control, knowledge of full project life cycle systems development, and project management methods and practices.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and expense control to plan, implement and control expenditures of funds while maintaining and improving quality standards.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • MBA preferred

Experience 

  • Six to eight years of related experience in insurance marketing operations, inventory management, resource planning, product and enrollment marketing, enrollment initiatives or partnership development
  • Demonstrated and measurable experience in the insurance industry
