About the role
This is a remote position.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm Sydney Time with 1 hour unpaid break.
Job Type: Full-time
● Convert bills of quantities (BAQs) and design plans into
comprehensive, detailed draft proposals
● Work with both landscape and building project estimates as the
company expands service offerings
● Collaborate with existing senior estimator during transition period to
learn company standards and processes
● Support sales team by providing accurate, timely estimates that align
with company pricing strategies
● Maintain estimation accuracy to support the company’s high
conversion rates
● Learn and implement new estimation systems and software as
company transitions platforms
● Ensure estimates align with project specifications and company
profitability targets
● Document estimation processes and methodologies for consistency
and training purposes
Scope:
● Full-time position with 80% estimation work, 20% potential sales
support initially
● Will transition to primarily estimation focus as company structure
evolves
● Strong mentorship and support from experienced senior estimator
during onboarding
● Opportunity to work on both residential landscaping and building
projects
● Role may evolve based on company growth and individual
performance
● Part of planned expansion that will likely include additional estimators
and design staff in the future
