What You Will Do

• Directs and manages all schedules and purchase orders for client accounts or product families.

• Prepares purchase orders, approves payments, and negotiates prices to ensure a smooth procurement process, under general guidance.

• Responds to client inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Carries out activities associated with purchasing goods, materials, supplies, and services to ensure terms are in the organization’s best interest.

• Compiles price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to provide input on reasonable prices.

• Prepares requests for proposals (RFP) and bid packages to acquire new accounts.

• Analyzes and monitors contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, including delivery, quality, and cost.

• Responsible for all aspects of the relationship with a specific supplier within a commodity.

• May perform delivery assurance responsibilities.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience

Qualifications We Prefer

• Knowledge in supply chain management

• Technical knowledge to comprehend production processes and supporting documentation.

• Basic skills to interpret drawings, specifications, and contractual language.

• Project management experience.

• SAP experience.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
