Senior Global Payroll Manager

Cybercrime is predicted to cost the world $10.5 Trillion annually by 2025 - we invite you to be part of the solution. </p><p>Company ambition does not stop within the People team.  So, if you want to be part of a team looking to create a state-of-the-art HR organization then you are in the right place.   </p><p>The position reports directly to the Head of People Operations. </p><p></p><p><strong>Your Responsibilities:</strong> </p><p></p><p><strong>Strategic and Operational Payroll Management:</strong> </p><ul><li><p>Develop and implement a global payroll strategy that aligns with business needs and enhances the employee experience. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ensure efficient and error-free payroll processing in all countries where the company operates. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Collaborate with external payroll service providers to optimize and standardize processes. </p></li></ul><p><strong>Process Optimization and Automation:</strong> </p><ul><li><p>Analyze existing payroll processes and identify efficiency opportunities. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Implement and manage a global payroll platform or integrate existing systems. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Standardize payroll processes across different countries to ensure scalability and consistency. </p></li></ul><p><strong>Compliance and Audit Security:</strong> </p><ul><li><p>Ensure compliance with local tax and labor regulations in all relevant countries. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Collaborate with tax advisors and legal teams to mitigate risks. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Prepare and support payroll audits. </p></li></ul><p><strong>Communication and Stakeholder Management:</strong> </p><ul><li><p>Work closely with HR, Finance, and external consultants to align on payroll-related topics. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Act as the main contact for local payroll teams and international payroll service providers. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Advise management on payroll-related topics, especially in the context of expansion into new markets. </p></li></ul><p><strong>Operational Support in Payment Runs:</strong> </p><ul><li><p>Coordinate and control payment runs to ensure accurate and timely salary payments. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Collaborate with Finance and Treasury to secure liquidity planning related to payroll payments. </p><p></p></li></ul><p><strong>Your Profile</strong> </p><p></p><ul><li><p>Experience in leading, developing, and mentoring payroll teams  </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>5+ years' experience in payroll with an international focus </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Experience in implementing and consolidating global payroll systems and transformation projects.  </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Knowledge of international tax and labor law regulations. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ability to communicate professionally with international stakeholders (internal and external). </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Experience managing and streamlining third party payroll providers </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Experience with common payroll systems and HRS tools. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>You have experience working in a multinational environment and supporting employees across multiple locations </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Minimum B2 level of German and Fluent English skills; additional languages are an advantage.    </p></li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Why Us? </strong> </p><p>At SoSafe, you'll be part of a cybersecurity team that thrives on innovation, safeguarding organizations against evolving threats and making the digital world a safer place.
