Social Media Content Creator (CONTRACTOR)

This is a contractor role up to 29 hours per week.

Position Summary

Shoes For Crews is seeking a creative, self-motivated Social Media Content
Creator to help grow our brand presence across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and
other platforms. This part-time role is perfect for a content-savvy individual with
strong visual storytelling skills who understands what makes social media scrollstopping and share-worthy.
You’ll be responsible for developing high-performing social-first content that
builds engagement, strengthens community, and reflects our family of brands. If
you love capturing content, following trends, and experimenting with fresh
creative formats—this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture and edit engaging video and photo content for use on social channels
• (TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Draft captions that reflect each brand’s tone of voice and drive interaction
• Plan, schedule, and publish content using social media tools (Later, Sprout,
• etc.)
• Track platform trends and bring fresh ideas to weekly marketing standups
• Monitor and engage with our communities in comments, DMs, and stories
• Collaborate closely with the Creative Manager and Brand Manager to stay onmessage and visually consistent

• Pull content performance insights and flag top-performing posts

What We're Looking For

• 1–2 years of experience in social media content creation (brand or agency
• side)
• Demonstrated skill with video editing, short-form content, and mobile
• storytelling
• Proficiency with tools like CapCut, Canva, InShot, Adobe Express, or similar
• A strong understanding of what performs well on each social platform
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Comfortable working independently, on short timelines, and with fast
• feedback loops
• Portfolio or samples of social content work required to apply

Nice to Have (But Not Required)

• Familiarity with safety, lifestyle, workwear, or fashion brands
• Experience in ambassador/influencer collaborations
• Interest in photography, trend spotting, or user-generated content
