About the role

The treasury specialist reports to and supports the treasury manager in all activities around liquidity, cash planning, and banking relationships. You will bring expert-level treasury skills and a strong foundation in a multi-entity/bank account environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential Duties

  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and new banks
  • Collaborate with the integrations team to ensure a smooth and timely transition of bank account access for newly acquired businesses
  • Transact incoming and outgoing cash effectively daily
  • Prepare wires and ACH’s as needed for acquisitions, loans, capital expenditures, etc.
  • Reconcile daily cash actuals to projection to understand and explain variances
  • Resolve wire transfer issues timely to prevent vendor, creditor, or investor cash flow disruptions
  • Prepare daily consolidated cash reporting for multiple banks and accounts
  • Assist the treasury manager with preparing and presenting the corporate cash flow projection 
  • Provide treasury manager support in maintaining liquidity company-wide 
  • Assist with administering the corporate credit card program
  • Maintain solid banking internal controls to minimize financial risk
  • Participate in month-end close process related to banking transactions
  • Assist with special projects as needed

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and team spirit
  • Thoroughness and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills

Education/ Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance required.
  • 2+ years of progressive experience in banking or corporate accounting environment
  • Preferred experience with Sage Intacct
  • Preferred general ledger and month-end close experience
  • Preferred experience working in a multi-entity corporate environment
