We are looking for a Claims Manager  (m/f/d).  This opportunity can be based in either our Alpharetta, GA or O’Fallon, MO  offices. 

  

The Impact You Will Have  

Reporting to the Head of Claims Operations, you will drive operational excellence across the Claims organization. 

 

The Claims Manager wil lead our business analysts and operations team. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities and a deep understanding of claims processes and systems. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

• Supervise business analysts and operations team members, including performance evaluations. 

• Expand Claims’ relationships with Underwriting, Finance, and other functional areas. 

• Conduct audits of TPA files to support TPA oversight managers. 

• Lead and contribute to special projects across the organization. 

• Train and develop staff and team members. 

• Support claims processing and system-related assistance for Underwriting. 

• Develop and implement strategies aligned with the Head of Claims Operations to ensure efficient claims processing, data management, reporting, and compliance. 

 

What You’ll Bring to the Role 

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred. 

• Insurance-related designations such as CPCU, ARe, ARM, or AIC are preferred. 

• Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in management, operations, and/or claims handling. 

• Minimum of 3–5 years in insurance industry projects or organizations. 

• Experience with high-value claims (>$1M), mass torts, and class actions is ideal but not required. 

• Reinsurance knowledge and reporting experience is a plus. 

• Experience in applying artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to improve business processes and decision-making is highly beneficial. 

 

The annualized base pay range for this role is $112,350 - $169,733.   The annual base salary range represents a nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total compensation package.  As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, employees are also eligible for annual performance-based cash incentive awards.
