Senior Developer, Cloud Solution Lifecycle Management (Helsinki/Oulu)

Cloud Solution Lifecycle team drives Quality Assurance, facilitates the quality processes and maintains quality platforms.​ When successfully delivered, the team produces noticeable support in delivering high quality components towards cloud or other runtime-environments.​ We are seeking an experienced Developer to join our team. 

 

About the role 

 

The Cloud Solution Lifecycle Management team aims to ensure built-in quality by providing guidelines and references, standardizing platform components and solutions, and supporting release decisions and risk mitigations. Additionally, they maintain quality platforms in alignment with operational platforms and offer guidelines for a common testing architecture and testability. 

  

As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for driving Quality Assurance, facilitating the quality processes, and maintaining quality platforms. You are Developing platform level simulations and virtualizations for all OP's teams, developers and testers.  

  

Additionally, you are developing infrastructure code to enable easy setup and maintainability of these solutions. You will also be involved in delivering high-quality components towards cloud or other runtime-environments 

 

What we expect form you 

 

The ideal candidate is a highly test-oriented developer with a strong programming background and a broad understanding of testability and virtualization. You should have experience in JBoss and Spring Boot projects, unit testing, release automation, and infrastructure as code programming. You should also be familiar with database usage and integration and have knowledge of Azure. Understanding different authentication technologies is a plus. 

 

You should be able to communicate, coach, and guide teams in using virtual solutions and implementing different interfaces and virtualizations. You should be able to learn and adapt to new technologies and areas as they arise. 

 

In this role, you will work with a variety of technologies and tools, including Docker/Docker Compose, Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm, Java, Python, Coherence, Jenkins, Git Hub Action, AWS code build and CDK, REST, MQ, Kafka, APP Connect, FTP, JDBC, CiCS, Soap, Json, XML, JWT, SAML, DB2, SQL, PostgreSQL, and WireMock. Naturally, you don't need to know all of these applications and technologies, but the more familiar you are with them, the better.
