About the Role

We’re seeking a Program Director (LCSW) to lead our Unaccompanied Refugee Minor (URM) foster care program in the DC and Maryland regions — a program that helps youth rebuild their lives through compassion, stability, and community.

What You’ll Do

Lead and support a dynamic team of social workers, case managers, and foster parents.

Provide clinical supervision and ensure trauma-informed, culturally responsive care.

Oversee program operations, budgets, and compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Build and maintain strong relationships with foster parents, government partners, and community agencies.

Represent LSSNCA through public speaking, outreach, and recruitment to grow awareness and foster family engagement.

Monitor outcomes, prepare reports, and champion best practices in foster care and resettlement services.
Qualifications
Who You Are
-
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in both DC and Maryland (required).

Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW).

Minimum 2+ years of supervisory experience and prior case management experience.

Knowledge of foster care systems, refugee resettlement, and trauma-informed practices.

Strong communicator, mentor, and problem solver with a passion for empowering youth.

Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
Preferred Skills

Knowledge of community resources and social service systems.

Proficiency in MS Office and case management systems.
