About the Role

We’re seeking a Program Director (LCSW) to lead our Unaccompanied Refugee Minor (URM) foster care program in the DC and Maryland regions — a program that helps youth rebuild their lives through compassion, stability, and community.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and support a dynamic team of social workers, case managers, and foster parents.

  • Provide clinical supervision and ensure trauma-informed, culturally responsive care.

  • Oversee program operations, budgets, and compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with foster parents, government partners, and community agencies.

  • Represent LSSNCA through public speaking, outreach, and recruitment to grow awareness and foster family engagement.

  • Monitor outcomes, prepare reports, and champion best practices in foster care and resettlement services.


Qualifications

Who You Are

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in both DC and Maryland (required).

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW).

  • Minimum 2+ years of supervisory experience and prior case management experience.

  • Knowledge of foster care systems, refugee resettlement, and trauma-informed practices.

  • Strong communicator, mentor, and problem solver with a passion for empowering youth.

  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of community resources and social service systems.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and case management systems.
