Controlled Docs Associate position

Labcorp has a Controlled Docs Associate position opportunity.

 The Associate would be handling controlled documents using Labcorp formalized process to ensure criteria is met and ensure accuracy, integrity, and proper handling of these documents.  Do you have 4 years’ experience in a regulatory environment handling controlled documents?  Are you detailed oriented individual that loves the challenge of multi-task daily and capable of working under-pressure?  Are you able to communication with multiple teams and auditors during an Audit as related to controlled documents?  Are you interested in Process Improvement Initiatives to ensure accuracy and efficiency?

Essential Job Duties:

  • Follow applicable departmental Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.

  • Administer controlled documents ensuring availability to the end user.

  • Track and report metrics as determined by management according to required timelines.

  • Ability to train others using developed materials.

  • Lead functional process improvement opportunities and implement revised processes and procedures.

  • Acts as a mentor and coach to junior staff.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.

  • Perform checks to ensure quality of work completed.

  • Ensure timely escalation and resolution management of issues impacting controlled document release.

  • Ability to develop/create/revise materials used to train others.

  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance (RC&QA) responsibilities, as indicated in applicable controlled documents, are followed.

Required Education and/Experience:

  • 5 years in regulatory environment (experience in GXP roles)

  • Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, organize, and communicate effectively to influence internal stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical skills and Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work well with others.

  • Ability to lead functional process improvement initiatives and to facilitate meetings.

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences preferred (or equivalent Life Science experience) or experience may be substituted for education.

Additional Information:

  • Pay Range: $26 to $36/hourly.

  • Work Schedule: (8-hour days) 8am-5pm CST

  • Work Location: Remote
