Transportation Coordinator- Per Diem

At STR Silver Pines, our mission is to enhance the well-being of individuals and families impacted by substance abuse and mental health disorders through providing comprehensive, collaborative, and personalized behavioral health care. Silver Pines offers a detox and residential program at our Silver Pines location in Mahanoy City, PA. 

Position Summary

• Offer logistical support around transportation for all clients admitted to STR
• Assist with Intakes
• Directly Support Clients as needed
• Assist with administration activities
• Assist with admissions activities
• Mentor and support clients in a professional manner
• Manage all Vehicle Maintenance, repairs, registration, and cleanings
• Ensure the safety and compliance of all company vehicles

Relationships and Contacts

Within the organization: Establish and maintain productive working relationships with peers and accounting team members throughout Silver Pines, Civiq, and affiliated facilities.

Outside the organization: Establish and maintain productive working relationships with third party vendors, as necessary.

Position Responsibilities

1. Maintaining a safe and secure environment
2. Help Clients by providing information, services, and assistance
3. Support clients to travel when necessary
4. Support clients to engage in treatment plans
5. Support fire safety and physical wellness of clients
6. Maintain the cleanliness and safety of all company vehicles
7. Make sure all company vehicles have updated inspection, insurance, oil change, etc.
8. Make transportation arrangements when vehicles are being fixed
9. Assist admissions as needed by completing Pre-Assessments and VOBs
10. Assist the intake process by completing searches
11. Complete other duties and tasks as assigned

Minimum Requirements

Education and Experience

• Minimum of high school Diploma
• 1 Year experience in the human service field providing direct support/ Experience in the substance abuse field preferred
• Knowledge and experience with basic Microsoft software packages
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Drivers License and at least 5 years of driving experience
• Enthusiastic and compassionate personality
• Ability to physically lift up to 15 pounds

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to communicate with peers/general public, clients and/or vendors
• Tolerant to various noise levels: noise level in the work environment varies may be very quiet to moderate
• Job performance will require the ability to move throughout the building as well as sit or remain stationary for extended periods of time
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to talk or hear, sit, stand, walk, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch
