About the role

As an Associate Strategy Consultant, you will be responsible for providing consulting services to internal clients within the company. You will work on a variety of projects, including financial evaluations, partnerships, product launches, process improvement, strategic planning, and organizational development. You will work closely with experienced strategists and corporate development leaders to refine your knowledge of a consulting practice inside a company and develop your analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

About the Team

The Associate Strategy Consultant position sits in Auctane’s internal corporate consulting team. This is a group of highly motivated and analytical individuals with a passion for problem-solving.

What will you be doing?

• Create presentations and reports that communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise way
• Collaborate with other strategy consultants to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget
• Market trends monitoring; review news/reports and create summaries for internal use and brainstorming
• Weekly news pulse – creation and distribution
• M&A tracker – keep it up-to-date, add new prospects as well as create short-profiles for prospects. Building a healthy acquisition funnel stemming from our strategic initiatives that we can analyze and present to the corporate development team.

What are we looking for?

• 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as economics, business, accounting or engineering
• Experience in e-commerce, logistics, Saas technology in the following departments – Strategy, Marketing, Product, Corporate Development or experience in Management Consulting, Investment Banking
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment

What will make you stand out?

• Bilingual in English and other language a plus
• Strong academic record
• Leadership experience in an organization, club or sport
• Interest or experience in the software, transportation, logistics and/or eCommerce industries
