Sr. Manager, System Test

Job Description

Be a Key Leader for the System Development Team in order to accelerate Philips Ultrasound in the market. Lead a team of System Engineers who develop and test the integration of software and hardware modules under development to ensure product releases are of high quality.

Your role:

  • Lead the System Test team throughout the development process in support of product releases that meet customer needs, cost goals, quality goals, and schedule constraints.
  • Provide functional leadership for the team including hiring, employee development, performance management, salary administration, and budgeting.
  • Provide technical direction to the team to ensure comprehensive testing approaches.
  • Take project management responsibility for project releases to support our product roadmap.
  • Execute on the organization’s strategy, providing clearly defined success criteria and levels of accountability for individuals in the team. Remove impediments for the progress of the team and act as escalation point.
  • Actively manage the portfolio of resources, tools, and training to accomplish current and future key objectives.
  • Manage the needed capabilities whilst developing and maintaining a long-term view on the required competences and knowledge.
  • Execute on continuous improvement in processes and ways of working to achieve operational excellence.

You're the right fit if:

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline. Master's degree is preferred.
  • You’ve acquired 8+ years of experience in Engineering.
  • Have a minimum of 3+ years of experience leading system development and test activities as a technical and functional leader, preferable in a medical device environment.
  • Working knowledge of electromechanical, software, and integration issues.
  • Experience with testing of electromechanical devices is preferred.
  • Experience with testing in a medical device or other regulated field is preferred.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position is $123,000 to $223,000, annually.  The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
