The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, Research Center or BBN team:

RTX has an opening for an Associate Director, SAP S4 HANA Basis Manager (Associate Director, Business Systems and Transformation) leader to join the BPM / ERP Transformation Team.  (Remote Opportunity).

This role involves leading the design & technical aspects of SAP BASIS, Output, and Batch Management, ensuring the stability, security, and performance of multiple SAP environments, instances, and landscapes.

Exciting $1-2B investment to transform our current 30+ ERP environments to a simplified S4 HANA ecosystem!   Responsible for engaging with the software provider, SAP, and other third-party providers.  Resource management, deliverables management, future state sustainment strategy including potential outsourcing, financial management, contractual management will all be within the scope.

What You Will Do

• Lead and manage the SAP BASIS, Output, and Batch Management teams comprising of internal employees, offshore resources, and contractors, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
• Design, implement, and manage SAP system landscapes, including S/4HANA, ECC, BW, Solution Manager, and other SAP applications.
• Oversee and conduct system installations, upgrades, patches, and migrations.
• Monitor system performance, compliance, and overall system stability and 24x7 availability.
• Conduct performance tuning and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Develop and maintain documentation and technical architecture for SAP BASIS and Security processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with other DT teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP systems with other enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with SAP functional teams to ensure project delivery and system sustainment.
• Conduct regular security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with internal and external security standards.
• Stay current with SAP technologies and best practices, providing recommendations for improvements and innovations.
• Travel up to 25% domestically

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically a minimum of 12+ years’ experience in large SAP Basis transformation arena and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree; Advanced degree and 10+ years’ related work experience.
• Experience in SAP BASIS administration and with supporting security, ABAP, and functional teams, with a proven track record in system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
• 10+ years of experience in SAP BASIS administration and leadership including Output and Batch Management

Qualifications We Prefer

• In-depth knowledge of SAP architecture, including S/4HANA, BW, and Solution Manager.
• Proven experience with system installations, upgrades, patches, and migrations.
• Experience with performance tuning, system monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• SAP certifications in BASIS and landscape management.
• Ability to travel up to 25%
