Job Title
Materials Management SpecialistAbout your role:
The Materials Management Specialist will manage inventory and material flow for a single client whose work is processed across multiple Statement and Invoice Print mail locations. You will coordinate directly with the client, on-site warehouses, procurement, and production teams to ensure materials are staged in the correct locations to support site processing. The role supports operational continuity and on-time client deliverables.
What you’ll do:
- Manage end-to-end inventory for the assigned client across multiple sites, coordinating transfers, staging, and stock allocation to meet production schedules.
- Partner with client contacts, warehouse managers, procurement, and production planners to prioritize material movements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/WMS; perform cycle counts, reconciliations, and inventory adjustments.
- Execute replenishment and transfer orders, support MRP runs and exception resolution, and update demand signals to prevent stockouts.
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics for site-specific processing; schedule and confirm warehouse pickups and deliveries with 3PLs as needed.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures (lot/serial tracking, FIFO/LIFO, shelf-life management) and support audit activities.
- Produce operational reports and KPIs for the client and stakeholders; identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.

Experience you’ll need to have:
- 5+ years of experience of direct client support for inventory and procurement.
- 4+ years of experience in inventory management and control using ERP systems (e.g., SAP MM, Oracle Inventory).
- 4+ years of experience in Warehouse Management Systems (e.g., Manhattan, Blue Yonder, Oracle WMS) and warehouse operations.
- 4+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting using Excel (pivot tables, Power Query), SQL, or Power BI/Tableau.
- 4+ years of equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.
Experience that would be great to have:
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
- Experience coordinating multi-site logistics and managing relationships with 3PL providers.
- Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt experience applied to inventory or warehousing processes.
- Experience implementing lot/serial tracking and shelf-life controls in regulated environments.
- Direct experience managing a single-client program or acting as the primary client-facing inventory lead.
- Experience in inventory forecasting, demand planning, and MRP processes.
How you’ll work:
- This role is generally on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
- This role requires the use of a computer and audio equipment.
- This role requires being on-call during non-standard and/or overnight hours on a rotational basis.
Travel:
- Approximately 20% travel off-site or to other office locations is expected.
