Position: Supervisor, Safety
Note:  This role can be based out of either Waseca, MN or Chanhassen, MN.  Regional Travel will be required.

Position Overview:

The Safety Coordinator role is to support Regional staff in implementing and coordinating activities related to safety, risk management, damage claims, loss prevention and control. Must have the ability to interface with individuals from all departments, and Division and Corporate Safety personnel.

Position Responsibilities:

• Responsible for implementing and coordinating activities related to safety, risk management, damage claims, loss prevention, and control for the region.
• Will train employees and support personnel at each system on safety related topics.
• Assist all system Safety personnel in maintaining safety files.
• Will ensure that safety violations are reported promptly and accurately.  •Will assist with investigations of some accidents.
• Will be regional contact for all safety related topics.      

Position Requirements:

• Associates degree preferred.
• Cable industry experience preferred.
• Must be flexible, independent, self-motivated problem solver who can consistently work and enjoy a fast pace environment.
• Must be able to work under strict guidelines.
• Strong organizational skills in a professional atmosphere.
• Ability to work flexible hours including, evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime as required.
• Willingness to travel.
• Lifting up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
