GlassRatner works with law firms, lenders, private equity sponsors, and companies of all types on complex business challenges such as pursuing a fraud investigation or corporate litigation, planning and executing a major acquisition or divestiture, or managing through a business crisis or bankruptcy. GlassRatner has approximately 200 team members located across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Job Title: HR Generalist (Full-Time)
Location: Remote (East Coast Time Zone or Central Time Zone)
Schedule: 40 hours/week
Overview: We’re looking for a knowledgeable and resourceful HR Generalist to join our team full-time. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in core HR functions, including employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration, with a strong working knowledge of UKG Ready and experience supporting teams across multiple U.S. states and Canada.
Duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, and benefits coordination
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and provincial employment laws and regulations
• Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures
• Support performance management, employee engagement, and development initiatives
• Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data in UKG Ready
• Assist with internal audits, reporting, and documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals and HR projects
Education, Experience, and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 3+ years of HR generalist experience in a multi-jurisdictional environment
• HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
• Background in financial or professional services strongly preferred
• Experience with UKG Ready (Workforce Ready) or similar HRIS platforms
• Strong knowledge of employment standards in both the U.S. and Canada
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Strong ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Cultural sensitivity and emotional intelligence
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Customer service orientation with internal and external stakeholders
