Patient Care Tech , Respiratory Therapy - Per Diem

We are seeking a current Respiratory Therapy student to assist in a clinical capacity per diem while in school. What an excellent way to gain practical clinical experience in an environment where you can make a real difference in the lives of others, using cutting-edge medical technology in an empowering and supportive work environment!    Schedule:  Per diem, flexible hours that can be worked around class schedules- days, evenings, nights, including some weekends  

Pay Range: $19.94 - $25.00, based on experience

Main Function:

• Assists Respiratory Therapist in turning around respiratory equipment, obtaining requested supplies, restocking coding carts and other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrates entry-level skill in and knowledge of respiratory therapies.
• Demonstrates the ability to work independently and exhibits flexibility in decision-making and prioritizing assignments.
• Demonstrates the ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with patients, providers, family, staff and visitors.
• Actively guards the confidentiality of sensitive information including but not limited to, the patients, staff and the health system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Enrolled in a Respiratory Therapy program having completed at least one semester required
• BLS certification required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Previous health care experience preferred

 

Pay Range: $19.94 - $25.00
