The Opportunity

This position works out of our Alameda, CA office in the Lingo Division. Working on Lingo, you will help build a next-generation technology that enables individuals to make decisions about how to improve energy, lose weight or enhance athletic performance. The Lingo team embodies a start-up culture and mindset with the backing of Abbott, a company with a rich history of healthcare innovation. We are seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager for Lingo based in Alameda, CA (San Francisco Bay Area), our division headquarters. As a Senior TPM, you will play a critical role in driving strategic cross-functional initiatives that support the development and delivery of Lingo’s data and software platforms. You’ll be embedded with engineering and product teams, acting as the connective tissue across functions to ensure the timely delivery of high-impact projects. You’ll bring strong technical acumen, systems thinking, and project execution discipline to scale our capabilities and accelerate our innovation roadmap.

What You’ll Work On

  • Program Leadership & Execution: Drive the planning and execution of multiple technical programs spanning infrastructure, platform reliability, and data architecture. Facilitate agile delivery across squads within a Spotify-style organizational model, ensuring autonomy at the squad level while enabling alignment across tribes. Define scope, schedules, milestones, success metrics, and communication plans in collaboration with product and engineering teams. Manage project dependencies, track progress, identify blockers, and ensure timely delivery.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a bridge between engineering, product, compliance, and operations to ensure alignment and shared ownership of outcomes. Support cross-team initiatives such as capacity planning, service deployments, platform migrations, and observability upgrades. Collaborate with security and privacy teams to ensure projects meet compliance standards.

  • Strategic Planning & Risk Management. Translate organizational priorities into actionable execution plans and clear goals. Identify and mitigate risks across teams and projects while communicating implications to leadership. Lead continuous process improvement initiatives that enhance delivery efficiency and transparency

  • Operational Excellence: Promote the adoption of modern project management tools, automation, and reporting frameworks. Create dashboards, playbooks, and metrics to improve execution predictability and stakeholder visibility. Establish standard documentation and templates for repeatable delivery success.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, Engineering Manager, or equivalent in a fast-paced software environment

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a technical field or equivalent work experience

  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and hands-on experience working in organizations using the Spotify model or si
