Position Summary
This position will be responsible for maintaining production records, setting up and running machines and equipment, helping train new team members, and making suggestions to help improve efficiency and effectiveness of departmental operations. Weekends as required
Position Responsibilities
The incumbent is expected to perform the following functions that the company has determined are essential to this position:
- Studies production schedules and recommends worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
- Communicates supervisor's directions to team members.
- Adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
- Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
- Suggests changes in use of equipment to increase efficiency of department.
- Analyzes work problems and recommends solution to supervisor.
- Assists workers in resolving work problems.
- Maintains time and production records.
- Estimates, requisitions, and inspects materials.
- Sets up machines and equipment.
- Reports machine and equipment malfunctions to maintenance personnel.
- Performs activities of team members.
- Examines materials and products at various stages of processing for conformance to specifications.
- Trains team members in departmental functions.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Candidates should not have any active written corrective actions (Written Reminder or Corrective Action Conference) or cannot have had a balance of six or more attendance points.
Beneficial Skills and Experience
- Department knowledge.
Education/Training/Certifications
- Associate degree (A.S.) or equivalent from two- or four-year college or technical school, or two (2) to four (4) years related experience and high school diploma or G.E.D., or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Must be willing and available to travel to such locations and with such frequency as is necessary and desirable to meet business needs.
