We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Engineering Operations & Analytics to join our fast growing engineering organization and be responsible for providing insights to enable data driven decision making throughout the Software Development Lifecycle process. In this critical position, you will focus on transforming data and information into insights that inform high-level strategy and tactical decision-making - all pivotal for the success of the R&D organization. Reporting to the VP of Engineering Strategy, Planning & Analytics, you'll be responsible for:

  • Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities
  • Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions
  • Design and build technical processes to address business issues
  • Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions and key operations and performance metrics
  • Define and run key interlocks that establish a clear rhythm of the business aligned to our objectives and ensure successful achievement of our OKRs
  • Communicate results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders within and outside of the company

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Math, Statistics, Economics or a related degree with analytics and quantitative emphasis
  • 6+ years of related work experience analyzing data and delivering business insights
  • Advanced Excel skills (data connections, complex formulas, pivot tables; VBA is a nice-to-have)
  • High degree of proficiency interpreting business metrics, executing complex analyses, and connecting multiple data sources to explain business performance
  • Proven experience independently managing cross-functional projects and delivering results on timelines

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • 3+ years managing analysts or data engineers
  • High degree of proficiency in SQL and thorough understanding of database architecture
  • Strong data visualization skills Tableau or complementary visualization tools
  • Proficiency with different engineering and enterprise software (e.g., Jira, SFDC, Confluence)
  • Experience translating analyses into business actions and quantified impact

This role is preferred to sit in either our San Jose, CA or Bellevue, WA office but the team is also open to remote options.
