ASI is seeking a Project Analyst to support APSD working on site at NAS Patuxent River, MD.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with assigned project leads to assist in managing of projects
- Create and/or update complex project schedules
- Simplify complex schedules for briefing material
- Obtain project data including, but not limited to, financial and schedule information from project team and update project data in the APSD Management Information System (AMODS)
- Compile and track information for Engineering Change Requests for projects
- Create and/or update project financial reports
- Track project spending and recoveries using project-specific charge numbers
- Analyze project financial data for funding issues and potential overruns
- Create and/or update project briefing material and reports
- Document meeting minutes and track open actions
- Create and interpret organizational and project schedules
- Report schedules to branch and division heads
- Create non-project divisional and branch reports and/or briefing material
- Create and/or update project risk
- Assemble and submit workload report to branch head
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years of specialized experience in one or more of the logistics disciplines described above
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Project, and SharePoint
- Ability to
- Manipulate Microsoft Project schedules and dependencies
- Create and maintain financial records (spreadsheets, graphs, etc.)
- Create schedules using data from multiple sources and disciplines
- Manipulate Microsoft Excel data and formulas
- Working knowledge of schedule durations, linkage types, lead/lag parameters, and how they affect a schedule
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Displayed self-starter attitude and the ability to work with minimum supervision
Work Authorization/Security Clearance:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must possess a current active security clearance of secret or higher
