Job Description

Overview:

Merkle Project Managers on our Promotion and Loyalty team manage scope, budget, timeline, risks, and expectations throughout the development of our projects. They ensure high quality, while providing daily monitoring, and control of program activities and provide program leadership across the organization A Senior Project manager partners with our Client Services team and works closely across all the disciplines- creative, front and back-end development, quality assurance, and strategy and insights.

Description and Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance to cross-functional Delivery teams.
  • Be the primary daily client liaison and advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage business within assigned accounts in a way that assures high client satisfaction and achieves clients’ desired program results.
  • Monitor project progress against the proposed plans including budgets, timelines, quality criteria and risk management.
  • Represent the client’s needs to internal team members.
  • Identify or clarifies issues with projects and makes recommendations to resolve issues.
  • Be an internal quality control check for all projects to ensure they meet client requirements.
  • Solve daily problems and exercises good judgment not only in solving problems, but also in determining when to escalate issues within the organization.
  • Describe client requirements, collaborate in the development of deliverables and support the ongoing activities of client projects.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of professional experience managing technical or digital projects
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Experience with internet applications and technologies
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence and Analytics
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and MS Project
  • Familiarity with Project Management and Time Tracking tools
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent organization, communication and follow-up skills
  • Strong quantitative skills
  • Firm knowledge of Internet technologies to best exploit the capabilities of our products and services

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $68,000-$106,000. Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
