Job Description

THE POSITION:

The Financial Revenue Analyst will take the financial lead for multiple Customers and high-volume accounts. Will be the subject matter expert supporting multiple business unit across the organization and will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of monthly revenue recognition, related billing and cost tracking.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams. These results are achieved by:

  • Expected to be the Finance Department’s subject matter expert for the EVERSANA Business Unit or Customer Account and act as the primary liaison with all company stake holders and third parties as required
  • Maintain a deep understanding of all of the sales agreements for the Business Unit and Customer Account and ensure the latest versions are reviewed and acted upon in a timely manner
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the monthly revenue recognition and client billing processes
  • Responsible for calculating the appropriate profit-sharing components and revenue recognition timing for applicable contracts
  • Lead any client audits, as allowed per the contract, to ensure timely and successful resolution of these audits
  • Resolve all client questions regarding billing information by partnering with the EVERSANA operational leaders
  • Appropriately track costs for the business units
  • Recommend and implement process improvements
  • Capable of communicating with various levels in the organization and articulate the finer contractual aspects of all agreements
  • Able to work independently to gather information from business partners throughout organization
  • Ensure all department leaders, business partners, and stake holders are well informed of contract details and its impact in all financial reporting with insightful and detailed analysis
  • Develop accurate budgeting and forecasting information
  • All other duties as assigned

EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB:

  • Travel – 5-10 days a year.
  • Hours 40 hours per week, 5 days a week.

Qualifications

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

  • Education – Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience and/or Training - Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a finance or accounting department. Experience with revenue recognition concepts and ability to apply that to monthly revenue recognition close process, ability to read and understand a contract for billing requirements, and forecasting. Must thrive in a team player environment.
  • Technology/Equipment - Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point. Hands on knowledge of accounting so
