We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and technically proficient Hyperscale Datacenter Infrastructure Manager to join our Infrastructure and Datacenter Operations team. In this role, you will ensure the safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operation of mission-critical data center infrastructure. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot hardware and systems failures, and support the physical infrastructure that powers our technology operations.

This position offers the opportunity to enhance specialized expertise in data center environments while working alongside senior engineers and contributing to the reliability and performance of enterprise-level systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections and preventative maintenance on data center systems including power distribution, cooling systems, electrical infrastructure, mechanical components, and rack equipment.
  • Execute proactive and reactive maintenance activities per datacenter established operating procedure.
  • Perform diagnostics, triage, debug, and replace faulty equipment components in a timely manner to minimize service disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate records of facility work orders, maintenance activities, equipment installations, and system failures.
  • Complete technical documentation and communicate issues to team members and stakeholders.
  • Follow established safety protocols, security procedures, and compliance standards.
  • Assist in audits and verification activities related to facility compliance and standards.
  • Ensure optimal environmental conditions (temperature, humidity) within data center specifications.
  • Support electrical systems work performed by licensed electricians as required.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and equipment repairs.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your degree, research and or relevant previous job and or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School /Equivalent Diploma and 6+ years of applicable experience in the required skills section below OR a Bachelor’s with 3+ years of applicable experience in the required skills section below
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.

Required skills in the following:

  • Large scale datacenter environment supporting associated infrastructure equipment.
  • Standard hand tools, digital multimeters, thermal imaging cameras, and other diagnostic instruments
  • Diagnosing and resolving hardware failures using diagnostic tools, meters, and systematic problem-solving approaches.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Work experience in a hyperscale datacenter environment (50MW+)
  • Solid understanding of server architecture, storage systems, network equipment, and data center hardware components.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems, air handling units, temperature monitoring, and facility environmental controls
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotation schedules as needed.
  • Ability to obtain facility access (including required government) security clearance.
