What this job involves –  

The Maintenance Lead will help enhance the property value and user satisfaction by providing maintenance team supervision at the property. The Maintenance Lead has a good understanding of mechanical systems, and preventive maintenance, is a team leader and safety oriented. 

 

What is your day to day?   

• Provide preventive, ongoing and anticipated maintenance at the entire property. Operate and maintain the properties mechanical systems in a manner which protects, maintains and improves the value of the owner’s asset. Supervise mechanics. 

• Assist the Operations Manager with implementing and monitoring hazard control, team safety practices, and ensure compliance with local codes and regulations to ensure the passing of the compliance portion of the operations audit. 

•  Assist the Operations Manager with developing energy improvement plans for the property; Operate the energy management systems to maximize energy efficiency.  

• Maintain the equipment inventory control for the property. 

• Regularly lift, move and/or carry up to 10 pounds; Frequently lift, move and/or carry up to 25 pounds; occasionally lift, move and/or carry up to 50 pounds. 

• Work at moderate heights and in changing environmental temperature extremes 

 

 

 

Desired experience and technical skills  

Required  

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in building maintenance 

• Technical or Vocational school training 

•  Certifications/licenses 

• Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks independently 

 

Preferred  

• Acted as a team Lead or Supervisor of a maintenance group 

• Knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
