Human Resources Generalist

If you are ready for a challenging role, Kirby Risk has an opportunity for you as a Human Resources Generalist in Indianapolis or Lafayette, IN.
We want to talk with you if you can:
• Contribute positively to our talent acquisition, retention, employee engagement, training, and development efforts and outputs
• Capture and analyze data; identify key trends and provide recommendations based on data; implement improvements to existing processes and solutions.
• Encourage and advocate for employee engagement and retention strategies and programs.
• Investigate employee incidents and work with the Human Resource Manager to resolve them; accurately record all interactions/incidents
• Interpret policies, programs, and procedures and advise employees
• Develop, promote, and maintain professional relationships with internal and external customers
HR experience in Electrical Supply and Distribution is a plus!
Role Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Leadership, Business, or related field or 5 years of Human Resources relevant work experience
• 3 years of proven experience in successfully deploying HR initiatives
• Good understanding of current employment laws and practices
• Strong analytical skills and ability to provide insights on process and delivery improvements
• Excellent problem-solving skills, a critical thinker
• Strong interpersonal and coaching skills
• Ability to motivate, influence, and persuade at all levels of the organization
• Time and Project Management skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Solid communication abilities: interpersonal, written, and verbal
