Visa is at the forefront of disrupting fraud from multiple vectors. Our team is seeking an experienced Product Manager that is passionate about building products that customers will love. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build, and roll-out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy.
The successful execution of this role will be achieved through balancing relationships, developing, and executing processes and delivering results. Ideal candidates will have the technical competencies, interpersonal savvy, and grit.
Essential Functions
- Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
- Develop product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
- Conduct market analysis by understanding client needs, evaluating market dynamics, competition, etc.
- Partner with regional sales and product teams to co-create relevant product go-to-market & sales strategies.
- Provide information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and ad hoc analyses/reports/presentations as needed.
- Bring new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs.
- Assess new product ideas and/or product enhancements.
- Be data driven, providing facts and analysis to support point of view.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
- Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle. 5-8 years' experience. SaaS experience preferred.
- Experience translating product strategy into detailed requirements, product pricing and positioning strategies.
- Proven record of accomplishment of success in fast-paced, agile environments with demanding timelines. Extensive experience works closely with cross functional teams. Experience working in matrix corporate environments, preferred.
- Proven ability to develop and evaluate product and marketing strategies.
- Effective communication skills to all levels – written and verbal including to executive management.
- Strong ability to consume complex data and information, develop insights and create impactful stories.
- Data driven problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
- Passion for innovating and delivering truly differentiated products and user experiences.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to interface across levels, regions, cultures, and languages, and engage successfully with both specialist teams and broader business partners.
