CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
- RN-Registered Nurse of California
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
DEPARTMENT REQUIRED CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
- ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- PALS-Pediatric Advanced Life Support
EXPERIENCE
- 1 year of experience in an acute health care setting preferred
DEPARTMENT REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Independently practices and prioritizes multiple demands in an ever-changing environment.
- Must have documented experience and knowledge of current techniques used on specific nursing unit.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Must demonstrate basic nursing skills.
- Working knowledge of pharmacology.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must learn operations of relevant hospital equipment.
- Basic keyboard skills preferred.
- Must learn basic unit operations.
- Basic computer skills.
- Prolonged standing and walking with ability to lift, move and transport patients and related medical equipment and devices.
- Flexibility to bend, stoop, twist and reach overhead.
- Must have excellent customer service and communication skills in dealing with patients, families, visitors, co-workers, hospital staff, physicians, volunteers, etc.

Pay Range is $50.05 to $76.62 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
