This role can be based in San Francisco or New York.

We are looking for a Talent Management Consultant who is passionate about working closely with the business to ensure the organization's continual growth and success through key strategic talent initiatives. This person will consult on and lead concurrent talent projects/programs of varying size, duration and complexity. In addition to program and project management, you will develop and execute change management within a global organization. You will need to easily communicate complex ideas to a variety of levels of sponsors, stakeholders, and end users. Influence and negotiation skills are critical, and you will need to drive projects forward with little direct supervision.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage multiple, concurrent and enterprise level strategic talent projects of varying complexity; initial project will be focused on the future of LinkedIn’s talent mobility program
- Work collaboratively and cross-functionally from a global perspective with project sponsors and functional leaders within and outside of HR to drive project objectives, outcomes, and deliverables
- Apply deep subject matter expertise to assess need, plan, implement, and monitor talent management practices and programs that support talent priorities
- Use data to identify trends and inform recommendations aligned with our long-term talent strategy
- Mobilize project/program teams and clearly articulate the plan along with roles and responsibilities for each project team member and stakeholder
- Plan and execute projects/programs against project plans, change management plans, and go-live and business readiness plans
- Establish project standards, cadence and version controls for project documentation and workflow to ensure success of projects
- Track project measurement and outcomes, taking lessons learned forward to expand, improve and evolve the project and build scalable processes
- Support internal and external-facing communications to share critical project information
- Seek opportunities to improve the employee experience throughout the project management lifecycle
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree or related work experience
- 6+ years of experience within Project Management and/or Management Consulting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with enterprise-wide internal mobility programs
- Strong understanding of end-to-end program & project management methodologies & frameworks
- Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience using cloud-based technologies (ex. Office 365, Google suite, Smartsheet)
- Ability to logically and efficiently structure ambiguous problems, identify sources of data, conduct complicated analysis, identify key insights and recommended actions
- Ability to be highly productive and proactive with key stakeholders and work cross-functionally with peers and organization leaders
- Applied experience with organizational change management
- Experience with organizational effectiveness & design projects is a plus
- Project management experience leading an end-to-end system implementation project is preferred
- Ability to communicate and facilitate discussions with executive team, business and HR leaders
- Ability to be highly productive and proactive with key stakeholders; can easily connect dots and ensure stakeholder alignment
