Job Description:

As the Insurance Product Management Leader at DXC Technology's Insurance Software and BPS business, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our extensive portfolio of insurance products and leading a team of talented individuals to ensure our offerings meet the evolving needs of our clients. With 88 products across 13 product lines, you will have the opportunity to drive innovation, optimize product performance, and shape the future of the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Portfolio Management:

  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of the insurance product portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market demands.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancement and expansion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and development to prioritize product roadmap initiatives and drive product development efforts.

Team Leadership and Resource Management:

  • Manage a team of 13-15 product management professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive individual and team success.
  • Allocate resources effectively to maximize productivity and ensure timely delivery of product initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the product management team.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

  • Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the performance of insurance products and product lines.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to track product metrics, identify areas for improvement, and make informed decisions to optimize product performance.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand customer needs and preferences, and translate insights into actionable strategies to enhance product competitiveness.

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define long-term product strategies and objectives, driving initiatives to achieve business growth and profitability targets.
  • Champion the adoption of best practices in product management, leveraging industry expertise and market insights to maintain DXC's competitive edge in the insurance sector.
  • Lead product launch activities, ensuring effective go-to-market strategies and successful product adoption by target customers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field. MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the insurance industry & Wealth Portfolio
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex product portfolios and driving product innovation in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, extract insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve common goals.
  • Deep understanding of insurance industry trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.

Must have a Valid Indefine US Work Permit

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $131,300 - $243,800.
