Summary
Lincoln Electric is seeking a Network Administration Specialist. The Network Administration Specialist is responsible for providing solutions to improve processes, or solve complex technical issues. This role will play a key role in troubleshooting and implementing new technologies across the enterprise.

Who You Are and What You Will Do:

- Operate, maintain, and support a secure network infrastructure, utilizing industry best practices and relevant technology. Ensure that the Network service at Lincoln Electric meets the needs of business units and reflects positive on the IT organization as a whole.
- Actively contribute to research, design, and implementation of network technology (wireless, route/switch, datacenter, security, etc) infrastructure.
- Actively contribute to the overall architectural strategy of the team by designing, installing, securing, and testing shop floor network equipment.
- Ensure that Industrial Operational Technology (IOT) and “Internet of things” (OT) devices are implemented using network security best practices.
- Make recommendations on placement and capabilities of network components on shop floor lines and plant IDF’s.
- Assist to maintain Cisco CyberVision, Cisco DNA, and Wireless infrastructure as shop floor needs adapt to meet business requirements.
- Use tools and techniques to perform site and predictive wireless surveys, as required, for offices and manufacturing spaces.
- Participate in authoring standard work procedures, network diagrams, and other documentation to support the network team and our customers.
- Monitor and provide escalation point for network infrastructure components. Coordinate with application owners as appropriate when troubleshooting issues or implementing infrastructure changes.
- Document and participate on automation projects to decrease management time and increase operating efficiency.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts by leveraging data, end user feedback, and teamwork.
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or equivalent relevant experience
- 4-10+ years of experience in supporting and designing Enterprise network environments
- Configuration management, able to design, implement, and support
- Highly motivated, self-star
