What you’ll do at Elekta

You will develop rock-solid cloud applications for our cloud-native Kubernetes stack, seamlessly deployable on our on-premises infrastructure in the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Implement software applications including design and testing. 
• Contribute to design decisions and discussions with project teams. Translate user needs into software requirements.
• Ensure software quality standards are met through documentation, risk analysis and testing support. 
• Participate in activities for improving engineering practices, tools, infrastructure and other quality system processes and deliverables.
• Proficient in all phases of the software development cycle.
• Proactively identify, troubleshoot and fix complex problems. Take initiatives to identify areas for quality improvements.
• Demonstrate initiative and creativity (out-of-the-box thinking).
• Actively seek to develop a working knowledge of a range of domain/engineering areas, processes, new technologies and tools needed to fulfil Elekta business strategies and project requirements.
• Act as a team player with a focus on delivering product value as a team
• Work closely with other teams to manage dependencies.
  
   

Desired Qualifications

• MSc/MEng in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• At least 4-6 years of application development experience.
• Skilled in Internationalized SPA (Single Page Application) development.
• Knowledge in Typescript, and Angular is desired.
• Skilled in RESTful service development, event-driven design, implementation and infrastructure services/tools. You are skilled in either Python or C# (.NET Core) and interested in working with a modern, python-based microservice application.
• Data storage methods (especially SQL) and test automation are familiar concepts to you.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and cloud tools such as Kubernetes is an advantage.
• You are also fluent in English, both written and verbal.
