Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) has an Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician opportunity with NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. Our maternity care team features board-certified and fellowship-trained physicians and an experienced team of certified sonographers, whom take great care in helping women manage their health at every stage of pregnancy, childbirth, delivery, and infancy.  Approximately 1,000 births annually.

We specialize in the diagnosis and management of obstetric, medical, surgical, and fetal complications of pregnancy. We perform advanced pregnancy ultrasound, consultations, genetic testing and counseling, fetal testing and support for high risk pregnancies.

The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine in order to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery.

 Opportunity Details:

• Provide direct MFM care to patients in both an Inpatient and Outpatient setting
• Perform MFM procedures (amniocentesis and cerclage)
• Provide outpatient coverage of the MFM Sono Unit and ambulatory practice
• Preconception consultations and antepartum testing
• Share in the call coverage schedule for night and weekend MFM consultations
• Provide supervision and teaching to Residents and Medical Students, including didactic sessions
• Collaborative care with Ob/Gyn providers

• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine
• Interest in teaching
• Cultural sensitivity to a diverse and under-served patient population, a must
• Russian fluency a plus, language skills in Chinese (mandarin) and Hebrew also helpful

Wages and Benefits include:

• Annual Base Salary: $473,400* (board eligible); $483,400* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week and required 17 weeks of embedded call and other coverage.
• Additional call and coverage performed over the 17 weeks required for the position will be paid at rate of $25 per hour.

The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $561,400** (board eligible) and $571,400** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $13,000***.
• Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
