This senior role is designed for someone ready to make significant impacts, guiding our IT operations to new heights of efficiency and effectiveness.</p> <p>As a Senior IT Operations Engineer, your mission is to elevate our IT support and system management to world-class standards. You’ll not only solve complex technical issues but also strategize on IT infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and optimal performance. Your leadership will build upon our foundations, enhancing our SaaS environment and macOS fleet management for our global team, affectionately known as 'Remoters'.</p> <h2><strong>Role Overview</strong></h2> <p>This senior position demands a blend of technical prowess, strategic planning, and team leadership. You’re expected to:</p> <ul> <li>Lead by example, setting high standards in system administration, particularly for SaaS platforms like Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, and Okta, and in endpoint management for macOS.</li> <li>Mentor junior team members, sharing your deep knowledge and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.</li> <li>Drive initiatives that enhance our IT infrastructure, ensuring our solutions are robust, scalable, and secure.</li> <li>Act as a key decision-maker in the selection and implementation of IT tools and practices that align with Remote's long-term vision.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Growth Opportunities</strong></h2> <p>This role is a gateway to higher leadership positions within Remote's IT department.
