Team Leader - Systems Services

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Projects Team Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a small team of server engineers dedicated to the practice stream. The individual will provide technical leadership as well as day-to-day management to support portfolio and project teams and ensure work their teams' outputs or services are effectively delivered on time.

​About the role

• Assist and provide input into the team's strategy and roadmap initiatives to uplift maturity practices

• Develop and create technology standards and patterns documentation to support the teams core technology stack (Cisco UCS, VMware, RHEL and Windows)

• Lead and manage a small team of dedicated engineers responsible for executing server builds and implementations according to certified architectures

• Establish processes to ensure project engineers are delivering tasks on schedule

• Ensure collaboration with portfolio teams ensuring blockers and issues are addressed in a timely manner

• Ensure projects are handed over to BAU operational teams within an agreed timeframe

• Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that encourages continuous improvement and learning

About you

• The ability to develop and execute detailed roadmaps and timelines for maturity uplift initiatives

• Vendor management, including negotiation skills and the ability to build strong relationships with technology partners

• The ability to take ownership and drive project issues and blockers to closure.

• Ability to lead, direct and guide the work of others, including setting goals and prioritising the work to achieve practice and operational outcomes

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
