Lead - Travel & Transport Professional

If you are looking to build a fulfilling career and are confident you have the skills and experience to help us succeed, we want to work with you! </p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>Expertise in handling all the International and Domestic ticketing inquiries and issuance</p><p>Sounds knowledge of Airport codes, Airlines, Airlines policies, IATA regulations and geography.</p><p>It’s mandatory that the candidate must have excellent knowledge of GDS, preferably Sabre.</p><p>Must be able to block PNR on GDS and check all fares rules, Cancellations and other terms and conditions.</p><p>Raising group bookings query with the respective hotels and following up with them for early revert.</p><p>Arranging airport transfers through various vendors/our geo-based admin teams.</p><p>Handling various queries from employees over call and e-mails regarding their travel plan and advise the most cost-effective options that will fit within the company’s travel policy.</p><p>At least 5 - 7 years of experience in the relevant field of ticketing.</p><p>As you will be coordinating with employees mostly from US and other part of the world you are expected to have above average written and oral communication skills.</p><p>Should be comfortable working with 24*7 Shifts.</p><p>Perform other various activities like, Queues check, run various reports, Negotiate rates with hotels, Credit card reconciliation ETC.</p><p>Activities may be generally routine but mostly require interpretation of policies or procedures to solve.</p><p>Knowledge of Concur tool is preferred but not mandatory</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>Minimum Associate Degree </p><p>Advance certification courses in Travel and Tourism Preferred but not mandatory</p><p>Sound knowledge of the Travel GDS systems</p><p>Prior experience in booking, ticketing and logistics would be an advantage</p><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>Successsful candidate must be able to work a 2pm to 10 pm shift</p><p>As your prospective employer, we need to process your Personal Data as needed to evaluate your qualification for the position you are applying for with Sutherland.  During the recruitment process, your Personal Data may be transferred outside of Jamaica and disclosed to third parties in the normal course of the recruitment and/or employment process or as needed to comply with applicable laws.
