Warehouse Supervisor - 2nd Shift

SUMMARY STATEMENT /POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Processing Supervisor with our container management division that supports the United States Postal Service, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and seamless handling of containers that keep our communities connected.


In this position, you'll lead a dedicated team and work closely with the Plant Manager to ensure we are providing excellent service to the USPS. Your expertise will help us optimize workflows, enhance productivity, and maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ RESPONSIBILITIES - Processing Supervisor
• Oversee activities and responsibilities of all personnel on their shift
• Coordinate daily workload between the available resources
• Ensure all procedures are followed by all personnel
• Ensure adequate training of new employees, retraining and cross training of existing personnel to allow for a flexible workforce and opportunities for advancement
• Data collection and reporting
• Performs quality inspections of employee’s assigned duties
• Basic understanding of dispatch
• Communicates safety expectations to employees
• Promotes and enforces a safe work environment
• Performs other duties as assigned.

SPECIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, OR QUALIFICATIONS - Processing Supervisor
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience supervising (minimum of 2 years)
• Must be bilingual (fluent in Spanish and English)
• Strong computer skills
• Must be available to work weekends and outside of set shift times
• Positive attitude
• Excellent attendance
• Strong organizational and problem solving skills
• Forklift experience preferred
• Ability to develop and implement processes and procedures
• Communication, instruction and leadership skills to direct the work of others
• Must be able to obtain background clearance
