Job description

In the context of PASQAL’s hypergrowth, we are recruiting a Frontend Software Engineer to reinforce our team. As a frontend developer, you will work on PASQAL Cloud Services various internal and external web applications. You will have the challenging task to create and implement smart and intuitive user interfaces to help get our technology in the hands of end users.

Your missions and responsibilities will include:

• Developing the PASQAL User Portal that carries our Quantum Computing as a Service offer.
• Extending PASQAL User Portal with various modules, such as an e-learning platform and interactive (no-code) IDEs for programming on PASQAL Quantum Processing Units (QPUs).
• Developing the PASQAL Admin Portal that provides business and engineering teams with visibility and control over the QPU usage and learning experience of the users.
• Collaborating with designers to build a custom and scalable design system for PASQAL frontends.
• Collaborating with the product team and designers to build a user-friendly interface with iterative improvements driven by user feedback and metrics collection.
• Integrating PASQAL web portals with other frontend applications from third-party or other PASQAL teams, such as the control interface for the QPUs.
• Writing structured and documented quality code.
• Participating in the application's entire lifecycle.
• Making sure all code pushed to production is correctly reviewed and tested.
• Keeping a regular technological watch.
• Having an inventive activity in the scientific and technical fields related to the Company's research, products, technologies and markets; filing patents.

Requirements

Technical skills:

• Required: professional experience in Javascript and React.
• Bonus: experience with testing frameworks such as Cypress, experience with VueJS, experience with Python.

Soft skills:

• Creative problem solver
• Agile cultural experience
• Able to work independently with limited direction
• Curiosity and keen interest for new technologies
• Fluency in spoken and written English 

3+ years of experience working as a Frontend Engineer, preferably on SaaS products.
