Senior Data Analyst, Product Intelligence

Responsibilities:  

• Collaborate with Product to define KPIs and success metrics for products and features;
• Ideate and partner directly with product, engineering, and business teams to improve decision-making and drive impact;
• Develop data visualizations that illustrate complex platform phenomena using Tableau, Looker etc.;
• Responsible for dashboards that allow internal consumers to gain insight into the performance of their functional areas;
• Communicate analyses and recommendations to cross functional stakeholders for decision making;
• Work with partners to identify the key metrics their product should track and developing and sharing analysis, guidance, reports, and dashboards to successfully track and move these metrics;
• Construct reusable data pipelines for company-wide use;
• Design and analysis of A/B tests in a fast-paced environment at scale; and
• Partner with leadership, engineers, product managers and data engineers to understand business needs and how these can be addressed through analytics.

What we're looking for:

• Requires a Master's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, a related field, or a foreign degree equivalent;
• Must have 3 years of experience in job offered or related occupation;
• Must have 3 years of experience in utilizing SQL to query, retrieve, and manipulate data to perform product analytics;
• Must have 3 years of experience in utilizing Python/R to perform advanced product analytics creating pivot tables, additional derived columns based on statistics, and data visualizations;
• Must have 3 years of experience in utilizing different forms of quantitative analysis including statistical analysis, correlation analysis, and descriptive analysis;
• Must have 3 years of experience in utilizing data storytelling to convey complex statistical concepts to business teams as a succinct and business effective storyline including growth in usage, opportunities for growth based on geography, types of customers, contract length, etc.; and
• Must have 3 years of experience in building intuitive dashboards using BI tools, including Tableau to report known metrics such as total active users by product.
• Telecommuting work arrangement permitted: position may work in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Position does not require domestic or international travel.

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$98,900.00

Maximum:

$228,700.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure;  there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations.
