About the role

Locaria is a pioneering global multilingual content production, creative adaptation and marketing activation agency. We specialise in supporting in-house brand marketing and e-commerce teams, media agencies and creative production houses. We build solutions to scale content and campaigns internationally, carefully balancing cost, creativity, cultural nuance and quality, and using technology to drive efficiency.

The role

The Global Marketing Manager will be accountable for developing Locaria’s brand, B2B content strategy, event schedule and digital media tactics, to improve industry awareness, product consideration, and drive incremental leads and client pitches, to support the continued growth of the agency.

Working closely with the CEO, COO, and Growth Director, this role will cover driving awareness in global markets, with a focus on engaging brand marketing, digital media and e-commerce content stakeholders in key regional hub cities such as London, Amsterdam, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Mexico City and Singapore.

Requirements


  • Responsible for developing Locaria’s annual B2B marketing strategy and acting as a brand guardian both internal and externally
  • Ownership of annual marketing budget, with accountability for tracking ROI of tactics
  • Development of content strategy, which currently includes website, social and CRM
  • Ensure Locaria is seen via PR, as a leading global content service provider, generating awareness across creative, linguistics, marketing, production, procurement audiences
  • End-to-end event management, including scoping and delivery of external events, support on hire and logistics for internal events, development of promotional material, advertising, invitations, catering, sponsorship and PR
  • Manage and delivery award entries based on the best work output from the agency
  • Ownership and management of locaria.com, and support on wider content systems
  • Work with in-house digital marketing teams, to build demand generation and capture campaigns across social and search to generate incremental revenue opportunities
  • Supporting the development and distribution of case-studies and thought leadership
  • Manage relationships with industry bodies and trade publications ( LBB / MXPIQ etc)
  • Build a scalable solution to content development, for example a freelance network of copywriters, or hiring internal resource within one of our international offices
  • Support the hire with professional development, providing mentoring and regular feedback
  • Proactively manage elements of our relationship with our holding company, Stagwell
  • Collaborate with sales/growth/partnerships functions to align content and campaigns, and measure the impact of investments, with a test and learn based approach
  • Support internal teams with Employer Branding efforts

What we are looking for

  • A proactive team member who can spot marketing opportunities, test and learn on the impact of projects and investments, and scale strategies across markets
  • Someone who has worked within a marketing/media/creative agency before, in a sales, client growth or B2B marketing capacity
  • A candidate with a good base understanding and desire to learn more about marketing, e-commerce, creative production, cultural insights and linguistics
  • A high level of written proficiency in english, and the ability to copyright relevant content

Desirable

  • Fluency in a secondary language, or good understanding of international cultures
  • Experience transitioning a small-to-mid size agency into a global network
  • Someone who can provide thought leadership, and a perspective on the industry
  • A network of existing media, creative, marketing, production PR contacts
