As a Manager, Project Manager on the Partnerships Delivery Operations team, you will function as a project Lead and drive the end-to-end project management to both delivery execution teams and Intent Owners across Marketing, Operations, Business teams. Excellent communication and partnership skills are essential for interacting and communicating with stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes. You will lead complex projects/programs throughout their lifecycle, from initial intake to successful delivery. You will be accountable for comprehensive documentation, proactive risk management, and ensuring on-time completion. You will demonstrate strong multitasking, analytical problem-solving, and effective influencing abilities. Excellent communication skills for managing diverse stakeholder relationships is required.

General Responsibilities:

• Lead moderate to large complex projects and programs by providing strategic direction to projects and peers

• Drive cross-functional end-to-end project plans and  life cycle (intake, scoping, planning, delivery) and project plans in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements

• Ensure projects are being documented appropriately to mitigate risk, errors and to be delivered on time.

• Facilitate and lead regular meetings with stakeholder and project teamsApproach projects with a strategic lens while managing the tactical details in the day-to-day

• Strong multi-tasking, problem-solving and organizational skills; ability to work independently

• Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive project / program efforts

• Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent project management; quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment.

• Leveraging problem solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent

• Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments

• Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive project / program efforts

• Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment.

• Have excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience

• At least 5 Years of Project Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters Degree or MBA

• 6+ years of Project Management experience

• PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

• Strong communication, problem solving and collaboration skills

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Chicago, IL: $132,800 - $151,600 for Manager, Project Management

 

McLean, VA: $146,100 - $166,700 for Manager, Project Management

 

Richmond, VA: $132,800 - $151,600 for Manager, Project Management
