Sr. Optical Analyst, Merchandising Supply Chain

The Sr. Data Analyst will work closely with the product and finance teams to provide user insights and track metrics key to making improved product lead business decision for frames, lenses and contact lenses. This position will be key to contributing to the improvement in the profitability of the organization. Both strategy and analytic acumen will be needed to provide actionable intelligence that helps our organization make data-driven decisions. This position reports to the Chief Merchandising Officer and will generate reports, tools and visualizations for the team and help leadership with strategic planning based on the insights gleaned from their work.

 

• Consulting with executives and other business leaders to identify improvement opportunities
• Creating reports for internal teams and stakeholders
• Collaborating with team members to collect and analyze data
• Visualizing data with graphs, infographics and other methods
• Establishing KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions
• Structuring large data sets to find usable information
• Processing information with a team of analysts and other associates
• Crafting presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings
• Provide lab forecasting and assist with pricing changes as needed
• Provide business recommendations based on analysis improving efficiency and/or improving profit/unit
• Ad-hoc reporting and assistance with tests/pilots

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to work in high pressure situations and to meet deadlines
• Data visualization and reporting skills -- Advanced Excel, BI, Tableau, etc.
• Attention to detail
• Strong technical skills
