  The Columbus Engine Center has an exciting opportunity to become part of the Operations team as a Supervisor to be based in Columbus, GA. Pratt & Whitney, a recognized leading producer of the world’s most powerful jet engines, is looking for dedicated individuals to support our organization. What You Will Do:

  • Manage all aspects of assigned hourly workforce: (Time & attendance, time off, rewards, vouchering, training, communications, etc)

  • Define and Implement plans to support the objectives of the business including

  • Meet business metrics goals as defined for each cell (Cost, Quality, Delivery, EH&S).

  • Lead process improvement opportunities using Lean Strategies to enhance quality, decrease process cycle time and reduce operational costs.

  • Implement root-cause corrective actions in a timely manner to ensure quality standards are maintained.

  • Manage Capital and Expense Budgets for assigned cell.

  • Meet the schedule, plan and execute contingency plans.

  • Conduct performance and skill review processes for Operations Technicians, Powerplant Mechanics, and Inspectors.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelors Degree with 8 years of experience to include employee management, manufacturing operations, experience delivering on goals including cost, quality, EH&S; OR Advanced degree with 5 years of experience as listed

  • 2+ years of experience in leadership/supervision

  • PC Skills, including word processing, spreadsheet and graphics software preferred. (Specifically, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint + Windows).

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Turbine engine overhaul, repair, or related experience

  • Strong organizational and planning.

  • Experience creating and delivering presentation to all levels of leadership for the purpose of coaching and informing business decision.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
