A Day in the Life

Shift Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM

We are seeking an experienced, people-focused Manufacturing Supervisor to lead and develop a high-performing team in a fast-paced Med Device production environment. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and developing team members to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Lead, motivate, and coach a team of production employees to meet daily safety, quality, and production goals
  • Foster a culture of accountability, respect, and continuous improvement
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, team huddles, and performance reviews to provide clear feedback and employee support
  • Identify skill gaps and coordinate training and cross-training initiatives to enhance team capabilities
  • Recognize and reward individual and team contributions, promoting engagement and retention

Continuous Improvement:

  • Encourage employee involvement in problem-solving and process improvement activities
  • Lead or participate in lean manufacturing and root cause analysis initiatives
  • Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce waste

Operational Excellence:

  • Drive MPS (Medtronic Performance System) adoption and implementation
  • Ensure production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust resources and workflows as needed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including maintenance, quality, and logistics to resolve issues and optimize production processes
  • Enforce compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ years of supervisory experience

Nice To Have

  • Medical Device, talent development and succession planning experience
  • Proficiency with manufacturing software, SAP, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Bilingual a plus
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, business, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a passion for coaching and team development
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and safety protocols

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$71,200.00 - $106,800.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP).
