Job Description

Are you looking for an exciting challenge in which you can contribute your expertise in the field of data engineering and thus drive forward data-oriented development? Then you've come to the right place! In this role, you will work closely with experts from the fields of Data Engineering, Data Science, Software Engineering and DevOps and play a key role in shaping the technological future of ADFERENCE. In addition, you will have the opportunity to build and lead your own team. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Together with a Cloud Data Engineer, you take over the ownership of our Cloud Data Platform and develop it further with a view to performance, scalability and reliability
• You take over the process support of our development teams in their work with our data warehouse
• You extend our infrastructure with new data services and tools and are involved hands-on in the implementation process
• As your small team of experts will grow over time, you will also grow with your tasks and we will give you the opportunity to take over the technical and disciplinary leadership of the team in the future
• You will work with a modern tech stack, e.g. Snowflake, dbt, Kubernetes, Docker and microservices on AWS

Qualifications

WHO YOU ARE

• You already have experience in supporting the development of a cloud data platform from strategy to implementation
• You are interested in taking on a lead role in the future or already have some lead experience (e.g. as a team lead, project lead or in a similar role)
• You have hands-on experience in the areas of data warehouses, data services and data pipelines 
• You are a communication talent and can therefore communicate know-how and process change in the area of data engineering to the development teams
• Nice to have: You have experience with AWS, Snowflake, data lakehouse architecture, ETL/ELT patterns or ML pipelines
• You have fluency in written and spoken English
