Billing Specialist/Business Office Specialists

Overview:
We are seeking Billing & Business Office Specialists with 2-3 years of medical billing experience to join our team. This role involves handling claims denial resolutions, claims follow-up, and posting patient/insurance payments. Candidates should have coding knowledge, familiarity with claims denial, and a tech-savvy approach. You'll also need to make phone calls to insurance companies to resolve issues. The role requires strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with an emphasis on proactive and creative resolution of claims.

Key Responsibilities:

• Resolve claims denials and follow up with insurance companies.
• Post patient/insurance payments and ensure all financial data is accurate.
• Develop and implement creative solutions to overcome claims denials.
• Provide customer service and ensure timely resolution of issues (PE position).
• Collaborate with teams to maintain accuracy and efficiency in claims management.
  
  

Key Performance Indicators (KPI):

• Billing Specialists: Handle and resolve 80-100 claims rejections per day.
• Business Office Specialists: Accurately correct 40 claims per day (average 5 claims per hour).

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in medical billing.
• Familiarity with coding and claims denial.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to make phone calls to insurance companies and follow up on claims.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to type at least 50 words per minute.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on creative resolutions for claims issues.
