We are a part of Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I), the group responsible for one of the world's largest cloud infrastructures, powering all Microsoft online products and services, and supporting Microsoft's "Cloud First" strategy. We are looking for a highly motivated Technical Program Manager to lead data security and data privacy initiatives. This includes ensuring policy compliance, proactively assessing risk, and leading improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
Begins to develop expertise in class or set of security issues, tools, mitigations, and processes to maintain data security and data privacy.
Ensures policy compliance. Including access rights and data classifications. Identifies risks and proposes mitigations for risks using data (e.g., telemetry, usage, net satisfaction, customer satisfaction).
Schedules data security analysis including scope, priorities and compliance criteria. Adjusts plan to respond to findings, schedule and priority changes. Prioritizes and schedules work to meet deadlines.
Contributes to the definition of program(s) goals and provides input to the prioritization for the group of features/feature areas.
Validates use-case and scenario outcomes, and performance targets that are being achieved, with minimal guidance.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ year(s) experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- 2+ years of experience managing projects across suppliers, product teams, and customers.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry cybersecurity certification or equivalent experience.
- 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
- PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) or related project management certification
Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.
