Riverside Research is seeking full-time Senior Unit-Level Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Subject Matter Experts to support Space Operations Command (SpOC) at Peterson Space Force Base (SFB), Colorado and other locations to be determined.  These positions will provide subject matter expertise in all aspects of unit-level ISR operations to include processing, exploitation, and dissemination (PED); targeting; and all-source analysis.  Senior Unit-Level ISR SMEs will provide advice and assistance in all aspects of the establishment of United States Space Force (USSF) ISR squadrons.  Senior Unit-Level ISR SME's embedded within USSF ISR squadrons will draft foundational documents such as Concept of Employment (CONEMP) and related tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) to meet Concept of Operations (CONOP) and assigned mission essential tasks (MET).  Candidates must be proficient in standard office software applications and capable of devising practical and sustainable solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support development of initial operating capability (IOC) and full operational capability (FOC) definitions and milestones for Space Operations Command (SpoC) intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance squadrons
  • Draft foundational documents to meet United States Space Force (USSF) Concept of Operations (CONOP) and assigned unit mission essential tasks (MET); this includes concept of employment (CONEMP); related tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP), as well as supporting manuals and operating instructions
  • Recommend organizational structure; roles and responsibilities; and policy to enable CONEMP and TTP implementation
  • Explore new tools and processes to enable CONEMP and TTP implementation; facilitate demonstration and evaluation of potential solutions
  • Cultivate and maintain collaborative relationships with mission partners across the intelligence community (IC), USSF, and Department of Defense (DoD)
  • Facilitate enduring or one-time meetings, working groups, or tiger teams as needed; prepare minutes, track status of various projects, draft white papers/briefings and present recommendations to decision makers as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS clearance with SCI adjudication
  • Bachelor's in business administration, accounting, finance, engineering, computer science, physics, math, history, or related fields
  • United States Air Force (USAF) intelligence professional with a minimum of 15 years’ experience supporting all aspects of the intelligence cycle to include processing, exploitation, and dissemination (PED); targeting; and all-source analysis
  • Effective/efficient written/verbal communication skills; proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, responsible team player able to work independently with minimal daily direction
  • Ability to work and interact with technically and organizationally diverse personnel
  • Open to occasional travel

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with United States Space Force (USSF) organization, mission, roles, and responsibilities
  • USAF intelligence group or squadron command experience; squadron or flight superintendent experience
  • Intelligence Weapons Instructor Course (IWIC) or Advanced Instructor Course (AIC) graduate from the United States Air Force Weapons School
  • Joint Targeting School (JTS), Combat Targeting Course (CTC), or Target Analyst certifications
  • Assignment to or deployments in support of a Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC)
  • Master's in business administration, accounting, finance, engineering, computer science, physics, math, history, or related field
  • Professional military education commensurate with rank

 

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is: $140,000 to $175,000.
