If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good – you’ve come to the right place.

The Finance & Strategy (F&S) team serves as a trusted advisor to the business, guiding decision-making through strong business partnership and insightful, innovative analysis. We are seeking forward-thinking, results-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and can improve processes to help the company scale with growth.

Role Description
Salesforce is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to support our F&S Customer Success (CS) team. This role will partner with CS and overall Go-to-Market (GTM) organizations on financial planning, forecasting, management reporting, and ad hoc analyses. We are looking for a self-starter who can build thoughtful analysis and reporting to enable budget execution and optimization, and who can play an integral role in key cross-functional initiatives and projects.

Responsibilities

  • Shape and optimize end-to-end processes for forecasting topline revenue, headcount, direct expenses, and consolidations.

  • Partner with the broader F&S GTM team to develop forecasting models, build dashboards, identify business trends, and craft narratives for headcount and expense planning.

  • Conduct in-depth financial analyses to explain variances versus forecast during monthly close, delivering actionable insights to Finance Business Partners.

  • Provide ad hoc financial support and scenario analysis to Finance Business Partners and other stakeholders.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance forecasting, reporting, and analysis processes for greater efficiency and data accuracy.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the Values & Behaviors for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)

  • 4+ years of FP&A experience (forecasting, planning, and financial cycles); public accounting backgrounds also considered

  • Advanced spreadsheet skills in Excel and Google Sheets

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, changing environment

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized

  • Strong analytical, modeling, and planning skills

  • Experience developing management presentations in PowerPoint or Google Slides

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior Big Four public accounting/advisory or management consulting experience

  • Finance/Accounting degree and/or MBA or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the Values & Behaviors for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
